Event News in the T&A

This year’s event is raising funds for the Crocus Cancer Appeal and the organisers have teamed up with the Telegraph and Argus newspaper to promote this charity. The T&A is running several stories each week in the lead-up to the event.

Race Day Arrangements

Your personal timing chip and number will be ready for collection at the race-day Registration Desk, open from 7.45am, at City Park, close to the start of the race. Please ensure you give yourself ample time to collect your pack and get to your proper position in your starting pen before the junction onto Thornton Road by 9.30 for the start of the Half-marathon at 9.40; and 9.40 for the start of the 5K and 10K at 9.50.

Toilets, a covered area for changing, and a place for safe storage of bags are adjacent to the Registration Desk in City Park. But please note that road closures will be in place (see list of roads affected), so choose your parking spot accordingly. But note that all council car parks are free on Sundays and generally lie outside the closed road area.

Finally, please familiarise yourself with the event rules, so that we can all have a safe and enjoyable experience (see the event rules).
